Our Story
Aquarium keeping began as a childhood hobby for our founder, Mr. Lourdes Fernandes. What started as a simple curiosity about aquatic life gradually grew into a deep passion for understanding and caring for underwater ecosystems. Over the years, that passion evolved into a vision to create a place where both experienced aquarists and beginners can easily find everything they need to build and maintain beautiful aquariums.
Today, A Mart Aquatic World has grown to become one of the leading importers in India for freshwater and marine ornamental fishes, as well as a wide range of aquarium products and equipment. Through trusted global partnerships and a strong commitment to quality, we bring premium quality aquatic livestock and reliable aquarium supplies to hobbyists across the country.

Founded by Lourdes Fernandes. Began importing ornamental live fishes.
Became one of India's largest importers of ornamental live fish.
Started a breeding and aquaculture farm in Kansal, Maharashtra.
Expanded into aquarium products and equipment imports from well-known international brands.
Undertook the maintenance of Mumbai's historic aquarium - Taraporewala Aquarium.
Further expanded our range to include marine salts, aquarium accessories, and specialized products.
Created an aquarium setup consisting of 100+ tanks in the Government-led Mega Fish Festival, Goa.
Participated in IIPTF Aquagic Mumbai Exhibition, India's largest aquarium exhibition.
Successfully completed a 150-tank aquarium setup and maintenance project at Reliance Mall Jamnagar.
Launched Nishikigoi Japan Koi Fish Farm in New Panvel, offering authentic imported Japanese koi.
Introduced our in-house lighting brand PRIZM for LED aquarium lighting.
Participated in IIPTF Aquagic Bangalore Exhibition, India's largest aquarium exhibition.
Developed and launched our Japan Koi Fish Feed, specially designed for koi growth and health.
